Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $1,836 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Neurosurgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient acute care in neurosurgery and neuro License: Valid registered nurse license Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: Willingness to occasionally take charge Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a neurosurgical unit. The unit focuses on the care of patients with strokes, seizures, multiple sclerosis, head, back, spinal issues, and other neurological diagnoses or surgical procedures. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with various departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Auto-offer guidelines are subject to final manager approval. Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 are expected. Requested time off up to 5 days in each 13 weeks can be automatically approved. Weekend work is expected every other full weekend unless otherwise approved in advance. Candidates should be expected to work at least one of the major winter holidays. Night shift orients on day shift, and travelers must be available for the entire week for orientation. General comments outlined may include additional responsibilities.
