Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $1,912 per week in Wilmington, NC

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or Compact license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: Must pass EKG testing prior to start. Neuro experience preferred. Description: The position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical-neuro. The nurse will work in a neurosurgical/medical unit. The expected patient ratio is 1:5-6. The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients undergoing neuro surgical procedures and managing neuro diagnoses. Familiarity with Pyxis, SBAR, and EPIC systems is required. The schedule is managed by the unit. There may be a requirement to float to other areas as needed. The nurse will be part of the Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during catastrophic events. The contract requires working 12-16 weekend shifts. Floating within or near the facility may be required based on job description. Travel pairs are allowed but must be disclosed. References may be pending upon submission. Pre-start modules will need to be completed prior to beginning the role. All testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing.
