1 year Telemetry experience, inpatient only.
Experience and competence in drug titration.
Description:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with mission, values, and service standards.
Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice.
Meets unit-specific physical demands, including standing and walking most of the time on duty.
Requires significant amounts of bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
May require working differing schedules, shifts, and days of the week based on patient care requirements.
Exposure to blood and body fluids is high risk.
Must be able to push, pull, grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and minimally crawl.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide care for patients with trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluates overall effectiveness.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Performs responsibilities consistently with core values and service standards.
