Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $2,033 per week in Minneapolis, MN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year in Medical Surgical and Neuro nursing License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Strong experience in Medical Surgical and Neuro nursing. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Neuro specialty. The shift will rotate between day and night, with 12-hour shifts required. Patient ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night. Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical and Neuro nursing. No first-time travelers will be accepted. Every other weekend is required. Candidates will not float to other areas to meet facility needs. No on-call hours are required. The unit primarily serves neuro patients, with 60-70% of the patient population being neuro-related. Patients may include those coming from the ICU after stabilization. Certifications in Basic Life Support and NIH Stroke Scale are required. Skills required include management of BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, and wound care. Candidates must be prepared to work with a variety of patient diagnoses in both medical and neuro trauma. Experience with electronic charting systems is preferred. Background checks and compliance measures will be in place prior to hiring.
