Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $2,263 per week in Spokane, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 6 months of neuro experience required License: Valid Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - BiPAP/CPAP management - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac - Craniotomy - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Neuro Stepdown experience - Pre/Post neurosurgery experience - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Spinal cord injury management - Telemetry - Traumatic Brain Injury experience Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. The nurse will be expected to float between units as needed. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Expected patient ratios are 1:5. Candidates must have experience with the NIH stroke scale and be proficient in managing neurologic diagnoses. This is a designated stroke unit that is thrombectomy capable. The facility has a JCAHO designation as a Spine Center of Excellence and as a Level 3 Epilepsy Center. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. Providers will be responsible for submitting any work-related cell phone bills. Previous charge experience is preferred. The charting system used is Epic. This position involves caring for neuroscience patients with various diagnoses and procedures.
