**Join Our Dynamic Neuro ICU Team!** **Job Description:** - Position: Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU - Specialty: Neuro Intensive Care Unit - Experience: 1 year required; 2 years preferred - Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 06:45) - Float Requirement: Yes, to other Adult ICUs - Patient Ratios: 1:2 **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery. - Utilize performance improvement techniques to enhance patient care outcomes. - Collect and analyze patient health data to determine problems. - Develop and implement individualized care plans. - Evaluate patient progress toward achieving outcomes. - Conduct discharge planning and provide education to patients and families. - Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold nursing standards. **Preferred Skills and Certifications:** - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (required at submission). - Experience with EVD management, ventilator management, and stroke management. - Knowledge of IV therapy, arterial and central line management. - Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and managing dysrhythmias. - Familiarity with CVVHD/CRRT and working knowledge of isolation precautions. **Work Environment:** - Culture of support and teamwork with access to IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams. - Focus on caring for adults with strokes or neurological disorders in an Intensive Care setting. - Engaging and collaborative approach to patient care with a commitment to quality nursing practices. **Schedule:** - Approximately 50% weekend shifts required. - Block scheduling options available. - Orientation: 48 hours provided. **Patient Demographics:** - Age Group: Adults - Diagnoses: Primarily strokes and neurological disorders. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
