Job Description
- Provide direct and continuous nursing care for critically ill neuro patients in a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
- Perform neurological assessments and monitor for changes in patient condition.
- Administer and titrate critical care medications per physician orders and hospital protocol.
- Manage ventilators, invasive lines, and advanced monitoring equipment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic EMR system.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Float to other critical care units, Progressive Care (PCU), or ED hold areas as needed.
