Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,215 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Title: Neuro ICU Travel Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night rotation, every other weekend Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of Neuro ICU experience License: Valid state or compact nursing license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA Certifications only) Must-Have: IV Start Telemetry Ventilators Intracranial Pressure Monitoring Description: Position involves working in the Neuro ICU. Shifts will rotate every 4 weeks. Schedule consists of 3 shifts per week totaling 36 hours. Patient ratio is estimated to be 1:1-2. Floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Daily responsibilities include accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and care of ventilated patients. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing central lines. Experience with bedside procedures such as EVD monitoring and mechanical ventilation is essential. Candidates should be comfortable with a wide range of patient diagnoses, including strokes and neuromuscular diseases. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Two professional references are required, including at least one from a formal leadership capacity. No coworker references are accepted. Education must be from an accredited program.
