Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required (weekend nights defined as Friday and Saturday nights only)
Highlights:
Specialized Neuro ICU setting with complex patient population including stroke, hemorrhage, neuromuscular diseases, and post-neurosurgery patients
2:1 patient ratio across all shifts
Epic charting system in use
13-week travel assignment with up to two pre-approved time-off periods
Exposure to advanced neuromonitoring including ICP monitoring, EVD placement, and bedside procedures
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
Epic EMR experience required
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Two professional references required (at least one from formal leadership)
Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
