Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week; patient ratio 2:1 across all shifts; weekend coverage required (Friday and Saturday nights for night shift; Saturday and Sunday for day shift)
Highlights:
Advanced neuro critical care environment treating complex patient populations including stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, post-craniotomy, and neuromuscular diseases
13-week travel assignment with exposure to advanced neuromonitoring including ICP monitoring, EVD management, and mechanical ventilation
Epic EMR system utilized; previous Epic experience required
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and Lift Teams
Bedside procedures including tracheostomy, PEG tube placement, central line and arterial line insertion, and EVD placement
Up to two pre-approved time-off requests available; floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity may be required
Requirements:
Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience; previous travel experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
Epic charting system experience required
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Parking options available with monthly and annual permit structures
Former employees eligible after 6+ months away from the organization; current employees ineligible for travel assignments
