Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro ICU for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements: "must have neuro experience and NIHH is preferred
Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred. Willing and able to float in department as needed as well as work every other weekend, a fair share of holidays. Have ACLS, BLS,NIHSS.
This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.
We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients.
2 CTAs on unit."

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel                
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, monitoring physiological data, administering prescribed medications, and assisting physicians in diagnostic procedures. The RN interacts with patients and families to share care plans, inform them of hospital procedures, and ensure smooth discharge processes. Delegation of tasks to support staff and making referrals for patient care needs are also key responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Basic computer skills

Required Education:
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
• NIHSS certification
