Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,639 per week in Castro Valley, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Neuro ICU License: CA RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Must have at least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience Epic charting experience required Charge experience preferred Description: Local candidates accepted with a 50 miles travel requirement. Candidates must confirm they are aware of local rate adjustments. CA license and certifications must be in hand to submit. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. Patient ratios are 1:2. Candidates must have neuro experience as reflected in their application. May float to other departments as needed. Patients include adults and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 18 to 22. Unit comprised of 24 ICU beds. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and more. Primary service lines include trauma ICU and neuro/stroke ICU. Candidates must manage a variety of patient diagnoses, including post-procedural and surgical trauma patients. The ICU team is known for collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Skills required include arterial line management, managing ventilated patients, and more. Candidates must complete a 7-year work history verification. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date.
