The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-acuity Neuro ICU environment. Responsibilities include care for neurosurgical and neurological patients with complex needs. Required skills include managing patients on ventilators and administering blood products. Candidates should be familiar with interpreting arterial blood gases and recognize dysrhythmias. Experience with the care of patients requiring neurovascular interventions is preferred. Familiarity with EVD and other neuro-specialty equipment is advantageous. A strong ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
