Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit Neurocritical Care Nurse position is located in Burlington, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized neurological intensive care within a dedicated 18-bed neurosciences critical care unit. The nurse will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients with complex neurological conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote neurological recovery and optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating days and nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule rotates every four weeks, potentially employee every other schedule or as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NIHSS, ACLS, BLS, and a Massachusetts Licensed Nurse (MA license). Experience with Epic electronic medical record system and travel experience required. Must be separated from the healthcare organization for 6 or more months to be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro ICU experience is required.
• Additional Information: The position requires working in a specialized neurosciences intensive care unit supporting critically ill neurology patients recovering from strokes, neurosurgical interventions, and neurointerventional procedures. The RN will deliver advanced monitoring and management while collaborating closely with neurosurgeons, neurointensivists, and other interdisciplinary team members. The role involves level 1 trauma experience and adherence to the neuro ICU care protocols.
