Position Overview:
New York City Health and Hospitals is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro ICU for a contract assignment in New York. The RN will provide critical care nursing services to patients with complex neurological and medical conditions in a high-acuity ICU setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in a Neuro ICU environment
- Monitor critically ill patients and respond to rapid changes in condition
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with care standards
