Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjustable based on acuity
- Monitor and assess neurological patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
- Float to the Neuro IMC unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis
- Fulfill holiday rotation requirements on an every-other-holiday schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an ICU or neuro-critical care setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
- Experience floating to step-down or IMC units
