RN – Neuro ICU

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjustable based on acuity
- Monitor and assess neurological patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Float to the Neuro IMC unit as needed based on staffing and census demands
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or Neuro ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification preferred
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
- Experience floating to IMC or step-down neurology units
