This unit operates 24 hours a day, with continuous coverage by specialized medical professionals. The ICU provides care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Common patient diagnoses include post-operative care from neurosurgical procedures, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, intracerebral hemorrhages, and neuromuscular illnesses. The unit also offers overflow care for medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU patients. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical care and ensuring high-quality outcomes for patients and their families.
