The facility features numerous acute care beds and serves as a major referral center for various specialties. The 14-bed Neuro ICU is committed to the care of patients with neurological illnesses. This unit operates 24 hours a day, with continuous coverage by specialized medical professionals. The ICU provides care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients. Common patient diagnoses include post-operative care from neurosurgical procedures, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, intracerebral hemorrhages, and neuromuscular illnesses. The unit also offers overflow care for medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU patients. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical care and ensuring high-quality outcomes for patients and their families. Key tasks involve establishing care plans, providing patient education, managing utilization, and planning for discharges.
