Travel Nurse RN - Neuro PCU - $2,200 per week in Fort Wayne, IN

Job Title: Neuro Stepdown RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year, previous neuro experience required License: IN or compact RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in Neuro Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit settings. Candidates should be proficient in drip titration if experienced; otherwise, will float to MedSurg/tele units. Candidates must be comfortable with a Nurse to Patient ratio of 3-4:1 on Progressive Care and 4-5:1 on MedSurg. Description: This position requires a registered nurse for a Neuro Stepdown unit. Patients will include those requiring Progressive Care management. Floating to like units is required as needed, with potential to float down to MedSurg. If floated to MedSurg, the nurse will maintain a 1:3 patient ratio. All travelers will need to attend a training program and complete EPIC training. Dress code is Caribbean blue scrubs. The nurse will work in a team environment and will never be alone in duties. The facility has established a call-off policy that permits cancellation up to 24 hours before the start of a shift.
