Description:
This role involves caring for patients in a mixed acuity unit specializing in Client and Neurosurgery.
The unit includes 48 beds with a focus on conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain and spinal cord tumors.
Registered Nurses must prepare to float frequently to meet staffing needs across various units.
Patient care ratios include 1:5 days and 1:6 nights for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, with stepdown ratios of 1:3-4.
Candidates will work within a multidisciplinary team, including care teams and therapists.
Weekends require four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period.
Travelers must work two out of three major holidays.
