Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Neurology Floor (Registered Nurse) in Fargo. This role involves providing patient care in a large hospital setting, particularly for neuro patients, on a 32-bed unit. Candidates will work rotating 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holiday, with the possibility of floating to different units as needed. The position is ideal for nurses with recent med-surg experience and the ability to adapt to varying unit needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday. Rotation may include consecutive days or nights depending on unit needs.
• Required Qualifications: Active North Dakota or Compact RN license (willing to obtain), BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NIHSS certification, minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (200+ beds), experience with neuro patients preferred, EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, strong MS (medical-surgical) clinical skills, neuro experience optional but preferred, experience working in a hospital with 200+ beds, successfully completed travel experience including positive references, and minimum 2 years of recent MS experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neuro patient experience is advantageous but not required.
• Float: Float to all units/departments within the healthcare organization as needed.
• Additional Information: Nurse will primarily work on the 6AB unit but may be assigned to other medical-surgical units across multiple healthcare centers. The bed size for the unit is 32, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift. All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility and wear navy blue scrubs.
