Job Description:

Join a dedicated team that provides moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area to care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care. Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not providing moderate sedation. The RN administers moderate sedation, closely monitors the patient's cardiac and physical status, and collaborates with the physician to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy. BLS, ACLS, telemetry, and the ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently are required.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation
• Monitor patient's cardiac and physical status
• Collaborate with the physician for patient safety and comfort
• Circulate when not providing moderate sedation

Requirements:

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Moderate Sedation Experience Required
• IR Experience Required
• Two (2) years experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
• Telemetry
• Circulate ONLY
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
