Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Neuro

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a position on a Med/Surg Neuro unit. This role involves providing comprehensive care to neurosurgical patients and others within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Position Information

  • Department/Cost Center: R6 / 140.823019
  • Specialty: Neuro/Ortho/Trauma
  • Number of Openings: Multiple available
  • Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM / 7 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Float Requirements: As needed

Education & Certifications

  • Required Certifications: No specific certification; Neuro experience required.

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 26
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:5-6 on nights
  • EMR: Epic

Hiring Profile

  • Must Have Skills/Experience: Neuro/Neurosurgery
  • Required Skillset/Experience: Experience in Neuro/Neurosurgery
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Neurosurgical patients (spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors), seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, and joint replacement surgery.
  • Personality Fit: Proactive team player with a positive attitude.

Scrub Color: Any. Must maintain a professional appearance.
