Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized neonatal nursing care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within a large acute care facility. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care in a renowned hospital environment with state-of-the-art resources.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: NRP certification; must have 2 or more years of NICU experience; candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role
  • Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience of 2+ years is highly preferred; candidates with additional neonatal certifications and previous experience in Level III NICUs are encouraged to apply
  • Additional Information: The NICU unit has 51 beds and a staffing ratio of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on patient needs. Candidates should possess a detail-oriented and organized personality fit for fast-paced neonatal care.
