Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse in Seattle, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates and infants within a Level III or Level IV NICU setting. The position requires handling complex neonatal procedures and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in NICU, BLS (Basic Life Support), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications. Must have experience with administration of blood and blood products, care of central and implanted lines, feeding procedures, neonatal dosage calculations, and ventilator management including CPAP, BiPAP, high-frequency vents, oscillators, and ventilators.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neonatal Surgeries, Neonatal Intensive Care Units (Level III or IV), and familiarity with Epic charting system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required, including to other campuses or units such as Peds and PICU, with an emphasis on newborn and infant care.
  • Additional Information: The role involves attending high-risk deliveries, managing specialized neonatal equipment, and providing care for neonates born between 23 to 24 weeks gestation. Travelers will not typically be responsible for admitting babies, as a dedicated nurse handles that role. The assignment begins on 09/14/2026, with an orientation of 24 hours, and involves working in a facility with a daily census of approximately 50 patients. Previous charge nurse experience is preferred, along with references covering at least one year within the last three years.
