Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct bedside nursing care to sick neonates in a Level III NICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (tripling possible in low-acuity cases)
  • Operate and monitor conventional ventilators, high-frequency jet ventilators, high-frequency oscillators, CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, and nitric oxide delivery systems
  • Manage all aspects of NICU care, excluding surgical and cardiac cases, across a 41-bed unit with single, double, and triple room configurations
  • Float to the Well Baby Nursery as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans for neonatal patients

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience caring for sick neonates

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Weekend availability preferred, though not required
  • Prior travel nursing experience is a plus but not required
