Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility located in Denver, Colorado. This seasonal travel opportunity involves working overnight shifts in a Level IV NICU with a team experienced in providing advanced neonatal critical care. The position offers a dynamic environment for clinicians seeking to expand their skills and experience with complex neonatal cases.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum 1-year current NICU level IV hospital experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience, located in a facility capable of providing Level IV neonatal care
Preferred Qualifications: PICU experience for floating, post-surgical care experience
Additional Information: The NICU provides care for a diverse neonatal population with opportunities for clinicians to perform advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) exams. The unit values professionalism, proactive communication, accountability, emotional regulation, and a commitment to evidence-based practice. The team fosters an environment of daily learning through rounds and exposure to complex care pathways.
