Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III+ NICU experience and NRP/STABLE certifications.

Details

  • Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 13-week travel contract
  • Level IV NICU providing intensive care for the most critically ill newborns
  • Patient population includes premature, extremely low birth weight, and full-term newborns with complex diagnoses such as congenital anomalies, respiratory distress syndrome, pulmonary hypertension, gastroschisis, omphalocele, esophageal atresia, meningomyelocele, HIE, hydrocephalus, and congenital cardiac abnormalities
  • Unit is part of an active fetal therapy program
  • Epic EMR experience is preferred

Requirements

  • Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, and STABLE
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience at a Level III or higher facility
  • Experience at a 500+ bed facility required
  • Level IV NICU experience preferred

  • Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill neonates across a wide range of complex diagnoses
  • SSN and DOB are required for consideration
