Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position in Reston, Virginia. This role involves providing care to neonatal patients within a 16-bed unit, supporting family-centered care, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The position requires flexibility to float within related units as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Day shift, with hours from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM; minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in Virginia, BLS (Basic Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification. Zero additional years of experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procedures such as intubation, umbilical line placement, PICC placement, lumbar punctures, and X-rays.
  • Additional Information: The role includes working full-time with a four-week schedule that involves some weekend shifts. Staff may float to Labor & Delivery or Post-partum units as needed. The dress code is scrub attire in purple.
