First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (NICU RN) – Night Shift

  • Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 19:00 – 07:00 | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Scheduling Type: Self-scheduling model.
    • Weekend & Floating Protocol: Every-other-weekend (EOW) coverage required. Floating required to related pediatric/neonatal units as needed.
    • RTO Protocol: Maximum 1 pre-approved time off request allowed.
    • Orientation Note: 36 orientation hours total (16 non-billable orientation hours).

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline & Travel History [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Level III or Level IV NICU RN experience required [HARDSTOP]. Prior travel RN experience strictly required [HARDSTOP]. (Teaching hospital experience preferred).
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Virginia State RN License or active Compact RN License [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - BOTH REQUIRED]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification [HARDSTOP].
  • EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR strictly required with no exceptions [HARDSTOP].
