Requirements
- BSN: Preferred
- Acute Care Facility Experience: Preferred
- Active RN License: Required
- BLS/CPR: Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required
- Required vaccinations must be completed as applicable
- Medical/religious exemptions may apply
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and collect relevant clinical data
- Analyze assessments and identify patient care needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Coordinate care and promote a safe patient environment
- Monitor patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members
- Provide patient and family education
- Provide health information to patients, families, and the care team
- Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate duties appropriately
- Perform other assigned nursing duties
