Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients, including those with prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and other critical conditions. The role requires flexibility with rotating shifts, including days and nights, with duties centered around supporting neonates across various acuity levels.
Job Details
Position Description: NICU RN - Alternating Day/Nights - 36 hours weekly; 13-week contract starting 10/26/2026; first-time travelers accepted.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, BLS, CPI certification; 2 years of neonatal intensive care experience, and at least 1 year of recent pediatric nursing experience.
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Experience with trach/vent management, PICCs/central lines, TPN/ILs, and neonatal-specific procedures preferred. Candidates must be comfortable floating within their scope and available for weekend and holiday shifts as scheduled.
Certifications: BLS, CPI; ACLS preferred.
Submission Requirements: All candidates must submit compliance documents within 5 days prior to start and complete onboarding modules.
