Ventilator care (CPAP, NAVA, Conventional Ventilation, Oscillator, Nitric Oxide)
Central lines (PICC, UAC, UVC, Broviac, Arterial Lines)
Chest tubes
NG/PO feedings
IV therapy and medication administration
Video EEG and therapeutic cooling
Family-centered care and collaboration
EMR & Equipment
EMR: Epic
IV Pumps: Alaris
Medication System: Pyxis
Floating
May float to the Women's Care Center for newborn care only
Travelers float first if needed
Schedule
Every other weekend required
No guaranteed block scheduling
No on-call
Holiday rotation based on start date
Time off requires Nurse Manager approval
Orientation
Day 1: Hospital and unit orientation
Day 2: Preceptor training
Day 3: Assigned work buddy before independent assignment
