Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Level IV NICU unit with 42 beds and a 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratio
• Work alongside a team consisting of 1 CNC, 14-17 RNs, and 1 unit coordinator per shift
• Utilize equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, tracheostomy, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, titrated medications, continuous medications, intermittent IV/PO medications, chest tubes, and Arctic Sun
• EMR systems used: Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
• Perform typical unit procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and ROP exams
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience required
• PICU experience for floating preferred
• Post-surgical care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, accountability, and emotional regulation in high-acuity environments
• Must proactively seek direction and demonstrate reliability
