- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, every other weekend, and major holiday coverage required
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
- Start Date: 8/3/2026
- Floating: May float within the New Life Center or to other NICU units as needed
- Orientation: Multiple orientation dates available based on assignment needs
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required; PALS preferred at hire and required within 6 months if applicable
- Strong NICU, pediatric, or critical care nursing background preferred
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation and care of unstable or chronically ill pediatric patients
- Ability to work night shifts, manage a fast-paced environment, and participate in weekend and holiday coverage
- Excellent communication, assessment, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for neonates in a Level III NICU
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care
- Administer medications safely and coordinate care across the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Assist with neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and ongoing critical care support
- Care for infants requiring bubble CPAP, ventilators, umbilical lines, arterial sticks, and peripheral access
- Support family education, discharge planning, and follow-up teaching
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based nursing practice
- Float to related neonatal units as assigned and collaborate to ensure seamless patient care
