Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level II-III NICU setting within a pediatric hospital environment. The role requires maintaining high standards of clinical expertise, compassionate patient care, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provide care for premature and high-risk neonatal patients, including those with respiratory support needs, trachs, G-tubes, NG/OG tubes, NCPAP, UAC/UVC management, PICC lines, and medication administration. Handle patient care plans and facilitate discharge to home.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, Washington state license, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Level III-IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Shift Details: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with surgical patients, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), or neonatal intensive care. Candidates with a friendly attitude and good team spirit are highly desirable.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable with respiratory support for vents and manage complex neonatal needs, including high-acuity patients such as prematurity down to 22 weeks gestation, neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), and high-risk deliveries. EMR system used is EPIC.
• Schedule & Requirements: The assignment begins on 11/02/2026 and ends on 01/30/2027, operating on a schedule that includes every other weekend rotation, with occasional back-to-back weekends. No on-call duties are required.
