Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Los Angeles, CA. This role involves providing specialized care to neonates in a Level IV NICU setting. The position requires clinical expertise in ventilator management, bubble CPAP, CVCs, art lines, and post-surgical care, among other responsibilities, during night shifts.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 2 years of Level IV NICU experience including vents, bubble CPAP, various CVCs and art lines, pre- and post-surgical care, drips, stoma/trach care, certifications including BLS, NRP, PALS, and a BSN or MSN degree
  • Float: Float rotation may be required between PICU and Pediatric units depending on census
  • Additional Information: Ability to perform nursing physical assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, delegate tasks effectively to promote teamwork and leadership, and provide education to patients, families, and staff.
