Noor Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Spokane, Washington.

Job Details:

• Travel experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with at least 1 year of recent bedside NICU experience
• No on-call required
• Variable weekends required (every other or as needed)
• Block schedules not required
• 48-hour shifts approved
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity
• Float required to all units; only patients under the age of 2 on pediatric units; travelers float first
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any color for RN
• No parking fee
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Required skills include but are not limited to: administration of blood and blood products, arterial line management, bubble CPAP, central line care and blood draw, developmental care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), high frequency ventilation, hyperbilirubinemia management, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, IV vasopressors, management of chest tubes, meconium aspiration, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), neonatal abstinence syndrome, neonatal dosage calculations, neonatal sepsis, care of neonates under 34 weeks and 29-34 weeks, NICU III and IV experience, nitric oxide (iNO), oscillators, phototherapy, phlebotomy, placement and management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, post abdominal surgery care, pre-cardiac surgery care, respiratory distress syndrome, seizure disorders, sepsis work-up, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), surfactants, therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), thermoregulation, tracheostomy care and management, UAC and UVC management, and ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• Ventilators managed by respiratory therapy
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Daily census of 52 patients; unit has 61 beds
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Candidates must not have recent management NICU experience; recent bedside experience is required

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds, it operates as a teaching hospital offering a comprehensive range of specialty services. The NICU unit supports a daily census of 52 patients across 61 beds and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and rapid response teams.
