Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey or a compact state, in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU or specialty nursing experience required
• Recent neonatal or critical care experience within the last 12 months preferred
• Current BLS certification required and must not expire within 30 days of assignment start
• NRP certification required
• Epic EHR experience preferred
• Experience attending deliveries preferred
• Must be willing to float as needed within the assigned care setting
• Must be available for interview scheduling within 3-5 days

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate neonatal nursing care in the NICU and Special Care Nursery as needed
• Monitor newborn patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in acuity
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with deliveries when needed and provide skilled neonatal support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Adapt to changing unit needs and provide flexible coverage based on staffing demands
• Promote a calm, family-centered environment for patients and caregivers
