The role requires a minimum of three years of NICU experience and flexibility to float among different campuses within the supported healthcare provider network.
Job Details
Certifications: BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Education Requirements: State license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
Location Requirements: Ability to work within specified local radius (50 miles)
Years of Experience: At least 3 years of NICU Level III or IV experience, minimum of 2 years at Level IV NICU
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Responsibilities include administration of blood and blood products, care of central lines/implanted lines, management of feeding tubes, neonatal dosage calculations, and ventilator management including CPAP, BiPAP, high-frequency ventilators, and oscillators.
Additional responsibilities may include attending high-risk deliveries and occasional float to other neonatal or pediatric units.
Candidates must be open to floating to different campuses and working scheduled holidays and RTO requests as specified.
References: Two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required, including charge nurses or lead RNs.
