Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a women and infants unit. This contract role involves night and weekend shifts, primarily overnight, with a focus on providing critical neonatal care. The selected candidate will support immediate staffing needs for a high-acuity level III NICU environment, working four 12-hour shifts per week over a two-month period.
Job Details:
Schedule: Weeknights and weekends, 48 hours per week, four 12-hour shifts. Flex position; shifts predominantly nights.
Required Qualifications: Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to the state), BLS certification (American Heart Association), NRP certification, minimum 2 years recent NICU experience (Level III), and at least 1 year of neonatal high-acuity or ventilator experience.
Preferred Qualifications: STABLE certification (if required by the unit).
Additional Information: Candidates with no time off requests will be given preference. The assignment begins on 11/02/2026 and ends on 01/02/2027, with no extensions available. The role includes scheduled holidays: Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
Certifications, Testing, and Submission Requirements: Current BLS and NRP certifications, completion of CNE Skills Checklist, CNE Profile, three professional references, and work attestation.
