Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Comfort working day/night rotation schedules
• Ability to work every other holiday during the assignment
• Strong adaptability and ability to support high-acuity neonatal care
• Willingness to float or assist in related critical care situations as needed

NICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to deliver safe, compassionate, family-centered care
• Support patients who may require 1:1 observation
• Assist with potential assignments to PICU coverage when needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established care protocols
• Promote a calm, supportive environment for infants and families
