Also requires floating to PICU and CVICU
RTO must be pre-approved and discussed during interview
Flu vaccine required October–April (exemption applications must be approved before start; unvaccinated staff sign Declination & Masking agreements and mask through respiratory virus season)
COVID-19 vaccine recommended but not required
Role Overview
Collaborates with the healthcare team, patient, and family to promote patient health through professional nursing care appropriate to age and condition
Care delivered per nursing and medical plans of care, evidence-based practice standards, and hospital goals and regulatory standards
Requirements
2 years of RN experience in NICU, with PICU and CVICU experience
Experience at a Level III or IV NICU strongly preferred; children's hospital experience preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Active Arizona RN license or compact state license with multistate privileges (or ability to establish AZ licensure before start)
BLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
Advanced NRP certification
