First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (NICU IV RN) – Rotating Shifts / Floating Required

  • Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Floating Protocol:Multi-campus floating strictly required. Must be willing to float across all regional campuses.
    • Service Line Floating:Cross-unit floating to PICU and CVICU strictly required.
    • RTO Protocol: Only Requested Time Off (RTO) explicitly discussed and approved during the clinical interview will be honored.
  • Assignment Duration: 23-Week Extended Long-Term Contract (10/12/2026 – 03/27/2027) | 3 Open Positions (3/6 Booked)
  • Location Region: Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) | Level III / IV Pediatric Health System

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated NICU RN experience required [HARDSTOP]. Must have documented clinical experience in PICU and CVICU to support cross-unit floating [HARDSTOP]. High-acuity Level III or Level IV NICU experience and dedicated Children's Hospital experience strongly preferred.
  • Education Requirement: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) [HARDSTOP].
  • State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Arizona State RN License or multi-state eNLC Compact RN License verified on Nursys prior to start date [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - ALL 3 REQUIRED]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — Healthcare Provider) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active NRP (Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification [HARDSTOP].
