Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse position is located in San Diego, California. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients within a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit environment. The position requires delivering high-quality patient care tailored to the needs of critically ill newborns in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • One (1) year of recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
    • Current Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
    • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in nursing or related field.
    • Seven (7) years of recent Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience (within the last ten years).
    • ACLS certification.
  • Additional Information:
    • Facility notes should be reviewed for specific requirements and notes related to the position.
    • Must have valid licenses and certifications to practice in the state of California.
