Job Title: RN - Newborn Nursery/NICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid Registered Nurse License Certifications: Level 4 NICU experience preferred Must-Have: 2 years of NICU experience Description: Contract position for RN in Newborn Nursery/NICU. Nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call requirements apply. Candidates must have 2 years of NICU experience, with Level 4 NICU experience preferred. The unit has 65 beds and over 200 staff members. Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 4:1. Type of equipment includes isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and breast pumps. EMR systems used are Meditech and CPN. Permanent positions are also available for night shift and weekend days. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, and a positive attitude towards change is essential. The dress code requires navy scrubs, with no unacceptable attire. The unit is recognized for its outstanding teamwork and engagement in department activities.
