Travel Nurse RN - Nursery - $1,979 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required. License: Must have active state license. Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required. Must-Have: Previous charge experience and travel experience. Must be willing to float to postpartum for baby care assignments. Must have completed at least one travel assignment. Description: This role involves working in a Special Care Nursery with a focus on neonatal care. Experience in a Level II Nursery is essential. Previous delivery room experience is required. Charge nurse experience and preceptor experience are mandatory. The nurse will assist with circumcision care, infant identification, and discharge teaching to parents. Skills in assessing and managing newborn hypoglycemia and administering IV antibiotics are required. The nurse will handle cord care, metabolic screening, and phototherapy. Thermoregulation and vaccination administration are also part of the role. Every other weekend coverage is necessary for this position.
