Travel Nurse RN - Nursery - $2,618 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years Minimum Experience Required License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand or pending application Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Charge experience required Preceptor experience required Delivery room experience required Description: Special Care Nursery experience is required. Must have experience in Level II nursery. Will float to postpartum for baby care assignments. Every other weekend is required. Scrubs will be provided. Key skills include: - Assisting with circumcision and assessing site post-op - Providing car seat education to parents - Cord care and discharge teaching to parents - Infant identification and ensuring isolation precautions/PPE are followed - Administering IV antibiotics - Caring for large gestational age and low birth weight infants - Conducting metabolic screenings and managing neonatal abstinence syndrome - Performing newborn assessments and managing newborn hypoglycemia - Providing phototherapy and ensuring proper thermoregulation - Administering vaccines - Teaching circumcision care to parents - Starting and maintaining IVs
