Travel Nurse RN - Nursery - $2,618 per week in Brooklyn, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Special Care Nursery/Level II, including charge and preceptor experience. License: Active nursing license required. Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE required. Must-Have: - Completed at least 1 travel assignment. - Delivery room experience required. - Ability to float to postpartum for baby care assignments. Description: The role involves caring for neonates in a Special Care Nursery. You will assist with assessments, discharge teaching, and education for parents. Experience with infant identification, isolation precautions, and IV antibiotics is essential. You should have skills in managing low birth weight infants and newborn hypoglycemia. Phototherapy and thermoregulation experience is necessary. You will be responsible for vaccine administration and teaching parents about circumcision care. Every other weekend coverage is required. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy and respiratory services.
